so i'm finally done with all my editing and such for the final project and it is currently being uploaded to youtube.com so i'm very happy.
i had some trouble witht he quality of the audio on the video i shot and i'm not 100% happy with that part but i'm not sure if i can do anything else to fix it. it just sounds sort of static-y. oh well.
overall i am very happy with how everything came out and i actually enjoyed the whole process so i'm thinking i'll be making many more videos in the future.
i'm glad i'm done. now i'll go watch some west wing on dvd while this uploads.

finished project
I finally finished my final project.
Putting the whole thing together was a long and tedious task but I'm glad I'm done. I actually thought that I would presenting this afternoon but I didn't read far enough down Sandy's email to see that I'm on the list for next week.
Even though I'm finished, I'm glad I have until next week, this way when seeing everyone else's projects I can compare mine and make sure it is up to par.

okay...first blog
First blog for Advanced reporting and multimedia.
I actually didn't attend the first class since I had yet to get into the class. I waited at the classroom door, saw and spoke to Professor Marsters and then went home to do homework and later emailed to see if there was room for me in the class.
I did get in, obviously, but I don't have much to reflect on yet. I am very glad to have been able to take the class seeing as my only experience is in print and I would most definitely like to widen my scope.
I'm looking forward to learning new techniques to better prepare myself for all the changes going on in the new industry. I know first hand what it is like when a newspaper begins to lose money and has to come up with better ways to engage their readers, be it with online resources, new audio or videos.
Because of this I am excited at what this semester brings.
